Michelle King introduces us to a local woman that's helping every little girl's dream come true.
When they're young, little girls dream of becoming a princess, a fairy or a ballerina. But if they're too young to decide which one, they can still look the part.
Mara Joy Luker says, "They usually wear them for dress up, for play, or for their dance class."
Mara is the mother of Lily and Ginger, two creative, talented girls who love to twirl around, even if it's not in dance class.
So Mara created colorful tutu outfits for the girls' dance class, and pretty soon everyone wanted one.
Mara says, “I have some really fluffy four layer tutus that are just yards and yards of fluffy fabric that girls can twirl around in.”
This Utah mom created
LilyAnnaForGirls.com and launched of a whole line of leotards, tutus, fairy wings, and almost anything else a little girl could ever dream of.
Lily says she likes the colors, “I like yellow, pink and white and some other colors.”
Like many little girls, Mara's daughter can't seem to peel off her outfit even after dance class is over.
Mara says, “Whenever Lily comes to the store with me and wears her tutu, everybody says, ‘Oh, a little ballerina! Oh, how sweet! Did you just come from dance class?’ and of course, she shyly looks up and says ‘Yes.’ ”
www.LilyAnnaForGirls.com also makes little tutus for babies and toddlers.
